Here are 3 more birds from the Las Vegas area, taken on 12/30/2011. There are 5 pictures in this set. You can click on the "Newer" button above the picture to see the rest of the pictures. They are in the same order as the links below. Please see the descriptions for more information.

What are those 3 birds in the back? I believe the rest of the pictures show a closer look of these same 3 birds. I could not find any match in the Duck section of Peterson's Guide.

Is the Muscovy Duck a domestic variety? ABA Lifer List does list the Muscovy Duck. Can I include this bird in my Lifer's list if I want to adhere to ABA's rules?

Thank you very much for any help!

Domestic mallards. The muscovy is also domestic. There are a very, very few wild muscovies seen in the US, in TX.I wouldn't put the domestic muscovy on my list - kind of like seeing a chicken!

Very interesting flock here! All of them look to be Mallard mutts. With different domestic breeds in their background. Beautiful birds, imho.
Las Vegas is overrun with domestic birds. :L

The two facial lines on the bird in photo #2 reminds me of Pacific Black Duck. (It would still be a captive bird, obviously!)

Or a Domestic Silver Appleyard Duck. Like I said, these birds have a variety of domestic breeds in them.
