Taken today at Cow Meadow Park, NY. Have some ideas but the colors are throwing me off.

Same bird? First photo looks like a female Wilson's Warbler.

Same bird? First photo looks like a female Wilson's Warbler.

They were taken 11 seconds apart and the eye-ring looks like it is lifted off the face on both pictures, so I pretty sure they are both the same bird.

Same for me.. female Wilson's. If the shots in the first post are the same bird(not saying they are not the same though)... this is a perfect example of what the light and angle can do to the coloring.

Life list: 355
Latest: Olive-sided Flycatcher(Finally), Mississippi Kite, Wilson's Plover, Lark Sparrow, Elegant Tern, Northern Lapwing
2013: 219

Thank you, all. I suppose it is fitting for Mother's Day that I came across female - Northern Parula, Common Yellowthroat, Black-and-white Warbler, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, American Redstart and Wilson's Warbler, a pair of Cedar Waxwings, so probably a female there. And to cap it off a male Baltimore Oriole gathering material for a nest.
