My husband has not been too interested in my new found hobby of birding; I was shocked when he offered to go birding this morning for Mother's Day. Wouldn't you know...best birding day ever! I like to go to a small Rookery near our home which has many different herons, egrets, terns, ect. It was non-stop action. Here is a few pics of what we saw:

Good husband you got there, that's a great idea for Mother's Day. Congratulations on your day and nice shots!

For my Mother's Day my mom took our family somewhere! It happened to be a nice birding area so I sneaked in some time for the birds. . .
