It's a Red-winged Blackbird, either a female or immature male due to all the yellow.

Given your location and the amount of yellow, I'd go with female Yellow-headed Blackbird.

You'll get both red-wingeds and yellow-headeds at Cherry Creek. In this case, you've got a YHBB.

I'm jealous! I live very close to Cherry Creek State Park and I am there a few times a week at least and I have not seen a Yellow Headed Black Bird yet!
