The above is a topic I started today. As I was writing the entry I clicked to place a check mark on the Follow this topic listed under Post options. It shows at the top I am following the thread, but I did not receive notification of dklucius' reply.

But at times I have chosen to follow topics I did not start and click on the Follow this topic near the top of the page and I will receive notifications until I decide to unfollow.

Is this something at my end? I looked at my profile and the "Notification method to use for replies to followed topics" is check marked under Email. Is there some setting I am overlooking?

I just checked the notification system and it seems to be working. You have the option to be notified by email if your settings are set for email, or you can be notified in the forums.

Hmm... they weren't in the spam folder of the email account I use for here. Yahoo.. They will show a number next to any folder that has new messages in it and I always look at spam since the filters have made mistakes. I'll look through my profile settings again.

Just to let you know, I did not receive any notifications on this post. I noticed the box was already check marked while creating this.
