This bird was seen on Assateague island (south Va. end) in mid October. Was about blackbird size, if I remember right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You've got a juvenile European Starling, unfortunately.

European Starling there. Or better known as Air Pollution.

Life list: 375 Latest: Wilson's Plover, Lark Sparrow, Elegant Tern, Northern Lapwing, King Rail, Snail Kite, Bachman's Sparrow, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Bronzed Cowbird, Purple Swamphen, Short-tailed Hawk, White-crowned Pigeon, Common Myna, :D Red-whiskered Bulbul! :D and LaSagra's Flycatcher, Swainson's Warbler, Roseate Tern
