At first I thought this was a Warbling Vireo, but upon further inspection, it appears to have distinct dark lores (between the eye and bill), indicating a Philadelphia Vireo. Am I right? If so, that would be a lifer for me (I am crossing my fingers).

Seen at the Valley of the Lost Maples in the Texas Hill Country on 4/28/12.

I agree -- Red-eyed. Warbling and Philadelphia wouldn't show such a distinct eye-line.

Thanks!

Oh well, it was one day from being a lifer. I saw my first red-eyed vireo the day before at Guadalupe State Park, TX.
