taken today in madison CT pretty sure I have a willet here, but the bill looks alot thicker than what I keep seeing in my guides...any help would be great...sometime shore birds drive me bonkers!! :wacko: http://flic.kr/p/c5YguQ

Yup! The bill length is screwed up because of the angle of the head.

Actually, Willets have thickish bills, & this guy looks right to me.

I agree, it threw me a curve at first as well. You have some nice Black Ducks in the background!
