Looks like a female Common Yellowthroat

The sludge caught in the mind's filter, the stuff that refuses to go through, frequently becomes each person's private obsession. In civilized society we have an unspoken agreement to call our obsessions "hobbies". - Stephen King

All Yellow Warblers are yellow warblers, but not all yellow warblers are Yellow Warblers. - Me

Are you sure these are the same bird??? The throat in the first is yellow and the second appears lighter.

I can see female Common Yellowthroat for #1, but #2 seems like a possible female Blackpoll... but they are tough pics.

It's a possibility these could be different birds. Though, they were taken within the time/area.

Quick guesses, for me, would be Nashville Warbler (Female,Young), or maybe a young male Pine Warbler. Any pictures of the wings?
