Kenai Fjords yesterday. Way, way off. I have a field ID but I'll withhold it for now.

Marbled Murrelet, still molting a bit (because of the white below the eye)? I think a Kittlitz's would never be that dark on the head, and a Long-billed shouldn't have white that far back on the neck in any plumage.
Now for the disclaimer -- I've seen precisely one Marbled (briefly), and neither of the other two. So definitely take my ID with a big grain of salt. Thanks for posting this -- I'm heading up that way in August, and I need the practice.

I think it is a Marbled as well!

I think the bill looks too long...and the neck too thin, but I really have no familiarity with these guys. I can't make a better ID.
