I got my tenth bird feeder today! It's a cedar barn by Pennington. Hopefully it wont get destroyed by coons. . . :)

So far not a lot of activity yet, but that's expected.

Tufted Titmice, and Carolina Chickadees are all that have use it, but a Downy Woodpecker almost went on it also. Hope to see more birds on it!

ABA list: 295 Latest: Swamp Sparrow

Aren't you moving here in a few months, JimBob? You're going to need to rent a trailer just for your feeders!

Well three of them passed away ( :D) . . . stupid raccoon. In other words I don't have ten right now, I have seven. But I'm starting lawn mowing other peoples lawns so I plan to start buying more.

Oh and yes I'm moving pretty soon, maybe less then a few monthes. . . but at the rate me and my families we'll be lucky to get the house on the market by 2020!

Oh and a Downy Woodpecker, Common Grackle, and Northern Cardinal have come also.

Are squirrels an issue for you? They would love this type of feeder here in Maine and so would the bears!

i have only had one bear here in last 7 years and i had the feeders about 6 foot off the ground. and it tore several down. i ran a wire cable across from tree to the back porch and the feeders are hanging from it about 8 foot above the ground i have not had a problem since.. I do not get tree squirrels here just an occasional chipmonk or a little ground squirrel. they seldom climb the trees and would not be able to get to the feeders very easy.
