I saw that story on another station. I hope the eagle makes it. And a big thank you to the people who rescued him off the street and took him in for care.

I recently took a robin in that had flown into my front window. The robin didn't make it. But, I learned that day what to do and where to go with injured birds in my area. I wish I had known before hand where to go. I wasted valuable time finding out where to take the injured robin. In the end, in this case it probably didn't matter but I felt terrible that it took me so long to figure out where to take her.

I also faxed a copy of the information to my vets office so they would know where to direct people. They were my first call and they sent me to another vet who sent me to another etc. I finally got online and found what I was looking for.

If you don't already know where to take injured birds in your area take some time and please find out.
