I love my iBird app, and have been using the 'Bird Sounds' feature a lot, mainly to help me remember, but occasionally to try and bring a bird in. Often I will be going back and forth between several birds. It would be nice if there were a history feature, so that I could easily find my recent searches and not have to manually search each time.

I know there is a favorites section, but I'd rather not have to add birds to favorites if needed. Also, not sure I even know how to add them to favorites.

Thanks.

We have just implemented a search history feature for our iPhone universal app and will be adding to the Android platform soon.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That is brilliant. I was just thinking about this the other day and how I would love this future (for the same reasons as guy_incognito).  Thanks!

Hah, I had forgotten that I had already posted this...was coming here to make this suggestion.

Can't wait to see the search history update. Thanks Mitch!

Have you downloaded the new version 6 of iBird and tried Save and Load search? How do you like it?

I have recently moved to the Republic Wireless DEFY XT, and am enjoying iBird version 3. I would love to be able to name one or more search strategies. These would serve either as a most common small list, or as a starting place for further refinement. I would also like to be able to name one as the "default". Or just leave the full list as the default (startup) display. Are these features "pending" for version 3.something? (:-)
