Taken on my deck rail (where I take 90% of my bird pics) in East TN a couple days ago. I've posted a picture already of a young Brown Headed Cowbird (which I had no idea until I asked here) and I have a picture of a male. This bird showed up on its own so I wasn't sure if it's the female to the male. I'll also post a picture of a male Brown Headed Cowbird in the top of my Weeping Cherry tree. So, does she belong to him? and thanks!

Yes, it is a female BHCB.

My "local" bhcb male sits on top of my house with 3 females. I don't think they are faithful in pairs are they? Since they are brood parasites, and don't raise their young, I thought it safe to rule out a parent with its youngsters right?
What I have learned so far.... just because you think that bird is just another _____ (house sparrow, chickadee, crow or whatever you are used to seeing) look a little closer... you just might be surprised!

I think I've read that BHCB is faithful in some places, but not in most. You're right that the fledglings wouldn't be hanging out with the parents.
