Wilson's Plover??

Jekyll Island, GA - early June. I believe this is a juvenile.
Photo bird life list started: Oct. 2010.
Present total = 317
Latest: Red-cockaded Woodpecker & Bachman's Sparrow
Target Birds: Purple Gallinule

Definitely a Wilson's -- I won't speculate about the age.

Agree with Wilson's. With that coloring, there is only one other possibility and that would be Piping Plover but their bills are smaller and their legs are orange.

- Yes, Liam, it was South Beach; on the west edge. The rain let up for a bit near low tide. Had to flee before low tide due to sand "storm". Afraid it would hurt my camera gear.

Did you access it by Macy ln.? I found that spot really nice last November. Tons of shorebirds!
