Any birds that sound super simaler to Hermit Thrushes? Cause yesterday i heard what I think was one, but they are only here in winter. . .

Well sometimes Thrushes such as the Hermit Sound very alike but It could have been a late Hermit. That sometimes happens. Like one it was July in Indiana And A Slate Colored Junco was hopping on my deck when they are only here in the winter.

Canada Warbler, Blue Winged warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Ovenbird, Swainsons thrush, White throated sparrow, Tennessee warbler.

After listening to thrush calls it sounds like a Wood Thrush the most. . . I knew I should'a found that bird!!! That would'a been a lifer.

You want to see and hear wood thrushes? Come my way. They're quite abundant in the backyard woods, really enjoy going down there and listening to them around dusk. I'm no expert, but I've been tricked into thinking a robin or two are wood thrushes just by the call. I've noticed that robins will sometimes have the "echo" sound of the wood thrush, especially towards dusk.
