My husband and I have seen a pair of birds in our back yard over the past week that we have never seen before. We looked it up on this site and we believe it is a stonechat. When we looked it up we found nothing to indicate that it would be in this area. We live in southern Wisconsin. Anyone know if this is unusual?

We haven't gotten any really good pictures of them yet but here is one that you can see the markings and colorings on. The other ones were too large to upload.

Or, it just might be the not quite so unusual Eastern Towhee. :)

Thanks! It's a new one for our back yard. And pretty too!
