These were taken by a friend at her house in Los Angeles this last week. She thought these were the brown female and blue male of some kind of bluebird. The brown ones are wrens, but I am not sure which kind, and I think the blue bird is a Western Bluebird. She said the blue one made the nest and the brown one is obviously using it.

What do you think?

House Wren and Western Bluebird.
