I think I know what it is but I don't want to prejudice anyone with my idea. You can also hear the magpies in the background tormenting the dog. LOL

o.k. maybe I don't know what it is... I thought it was a house finch but the songs are different. Or maybe it's just a different "dialect"?

I listened to a few songs on iBird and the closest I could find was Cassin's Finch. I did not check all the warblers though.

New Year's Resolutions:
Get my lifelist to 300 (at the time of the original writing-293, currently-294)
Finally get Mountain Quail and Vesper Sparrow
Top my previous single year best (2011-253) I'm at 210 as of 6/11.

Sounds like a house finch to me. But I suppose it could be Cassin's, I haven't been around many of them.

Life list: 310
Latest: Swallow-tailed Kite, Yellow-crowned Night Heron

I'm still not sure. Although Occam's Razor would suggest it is a House Finch. :(

Thank you for the help :)
