I can never get these pinned down. At least I am not the only one. Seen this morning in Stroud Preserve SE PA. The bird was in brush at bottom of an open field and close to a creek. Any help would be appreciated.

I checked in with a local birding expert who is heavily involved in validating the Ebird submissions from our area. She says it is overwhelmingly likely that it is a Willow at this time of year, since Willows are everywhere and there have been two Alders in the county so far this season. I realize this is not a definite ID, but I thought I would pass this on, in case there are any other Chester County birders here.
