What in the world is this interesting creature? I've never observed one before. Seen in WI this evening.

It looks like a Ctenucha Moth, but I believe Wisconsin would be out of range.

Agreed -- and Wisconsin isn't out of range at all. I'm almost into Wisconsin, and I see lots of them.
