question re: counting on checklists
Posted 19 June 2012 - 04:43 PM
I wanted to submit a checklist of birds to ebird from a recent visit to Portugal,
to count some lifebirds I have not seen yet.
However, the spot is one of the main tourist attractions in Lisbon, and I noticed
there were also there 6 Indian peafowl roaming the main grounds, almost certainly these were
domesticated/'pets' for the grounds.
My question is: should these be counted as well on my checklist, or
else disregarded/not counted?
