I think your first one is a Milbert's Tortoiseshell, can't help with the others.

  • Red Admiral
  • Silvery Checkerspot
  • Skipper of some sort, what I can see of the wing pattern looks like a worn Fiery.

The antennae on 3 are too long for Fiery. I'd call it a Sachem.

I can see Sachem for that skipper -- we're just a bit too far north to see them, so I don't know them well.

Here they are nearly as common as Fiery and Clouded, and according to BAMONA, they are just as populous in Virginia.

The first one's a Pearl Crescent -- a good one to learn, they're quite common over the whole country. The skipper's a lot harder -- it would help to know where the shot was taken.

Dusted Skipper seems to be the best fit -- but the photos simply not clear enough for me to feel 100% comfortable with the ID. Sorry!

Well, I'm not going to say I couldn't be wrong, but that does look good for a Dusted Skipper. There appears to be a couple of basal white spots, and the face pattern looks good.
