beaks. one sort of mottled and the other solid black. best guess would be brewer's blackbirds? or maybe common grackles which are rare here.

cloudy and overcast this morning blew in two blackbirds appeared to be a little larger than the red wings i get and bigger tails and heavierbeaks. one sort of mottled and the other solid black. best guess would be brewer's blackbirds? or maybe common grackles which are rare here.

I think brewer blackbird. I'm use to them seeming shinnier. Perhaps the overcast day.

I don't know what these are, but my impression of Brewer's is that they are about the same size as Red-wings, and their tails aren't especially notable.
