This was taken at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens in Costa Rica. I've looked through my Birds of Costa Rica guide book, but can't determine which species this is. Any help greatly appreciated.

Also, this is probably an impossible task, but I also don't know what bird species this is, peeking out from its nest. Taken at Rancho Naturalista, also in Costa Rica.

Thanks!

1. is a Coppery-headed Emerald, and
2. might be an Antbird of some sort.

#2 reminds me of the Streak-necked Flycatcher nest I found in Ecuador. I don't know if the genus Mionectes reaches Costa Rica, but that might be something to check.

Thanks for the replies. The Coppery-headed Emerald looks like a good fit.

Will pursue the leads on the others.
