NW Washington, today. I want this to be a female Purple Martin, cuz that would be a lifer. FWIW, the nest boxes are on old pilings over salt water. Thanks.

Life list 226. Latest lifers: Townsend's Warbler, Gray Jay, Bullock's Oriole, White-headed Woodpecker, Cassin's Finch, Western Bluebird, White-throated Swift, Olive-sided Flycatcher and Hermit Thrush.
