I'm not sure about this litle guy. Threre was an eastern wood peewee in the same are but this one looks different, no eyering; it was about 7:20 am so the yellow could be from the low angle of the sun. He was perched on tall weeds near a lake and exhibited typical flycatcher behavior of flying out then returning to the same branch. Any help would be appreciated. Seen mid-May, North Central Texas. .

Oh, I didn't think of that, but did see the male Orchard Oriole in the same area.

Definitely a female Oriole. I'd lean Hooded or Orchard based on this shot. Any more pics?

Not a Hooded, bill too small. I like Orchard better.
