I hope I am posting this where someone might spot it and help me. I just registered today though I've been consulting this site for a long time now. I would love to post some rather amateurish bird photos of mine, and I would love to join in the interaction with others who enjoy bird watching/feeding as a hobby. However, other than this forum, I cannot seem to gain access to ANY other areas of the site. Is there a secret? (smile)
I would love to create a profile, browse others' profiles, etc. for common interest and locations, etc. When I tried to click "My Whatbird" I was told IN RED that I haven't permission to enter that area. The exact same thing happened with the gallery and with members, and other links.

Can anyone tell me if there is a wait period for new members to gain access to the entire site, or if there is some sort of fee, or whatever?
I am now wondering if this isn't why I hadn't signed up (registered) before now.

Thanks for any help. OH... and when I tried the "contact us" email option, it kept telling me to go to the "next page" but when I did, I was finding myself at square one again with a blank page in front of me and all my typed data gone.

I appreciate any suggestions,
WearyHag

We have spam filters in place to catch Hit and Run Spammers. New members are not allowed access immediately. Just post normally about birds and the filters will be removed and you will have full access. The first few posts are manually approved by Moderators. After you have seen this I will move it to the forum for reporting problems.
