newtothis, I'm the Moderator of the Whatbird Forums. There was a small issue with your post that I corrected. You had your album marked as private and I changed it to public. You can clearly have a private Gallery if you choose to, but since you posted this bird for identification, I believe that you intended for this to be available for public views.

For your American Robin, note:
Yellow beak, black head, rusty breast ... but particularly, notice how the eye ring looks like a "target". That set of features is pretty unique.

I will answer the question that I have highlighted. Yes it's mother, father, and siblings were all American Robins.
They are a very common bird and you will see plenty of them throughout most of the US.
