New Year's Resolutions:
Get my lifelist to 300 (currently 293)
Finally get Mountain Quail and Vesper Sparrow
Top my previous single year best (2011-253) I'm at 193 as of 5/12.

I thought about that, but every source I could find showed a strong malar and supercilium, without the fine head streaking.

I am going for a female Blue Grosbeak for the last one. The strong cinnamon wingbars indicate such, unlike an Indigo Bunting, in which it would be less noticeable. Also, the big beak would make more sense. I can't really explain the streaks on the sides, as the Bunting and the Grosbeak both don't have them.

Well said, I agree. Pretty obvious Blue Grosbeak, imo, because of the bill and wingbars.
