I've seen this woodpecker around quite often lately, usually in the company of another red-bellied with the usual red-head. Is this one leucistic? Or is he just bald? Weird bird! In the two smaller pics he was panting his little head off because it was soooo hot out!

Pretty sure its just a normal juvenile. The red nape grows in when they reach adult plumage.

this is a young flicker just fledged recently and has been coming to feeder for several days. notice it also has that bald odd color look. but i can see more features and agility in just a few days

This looks like a typical female Red-shafted Flicker to me. The only reliable aging character I can find is that juveniles have a gray-brown iris, which your bird doesn't appear to have.
