I was looking for and I think I was hearing a Grasshopper Sparrow and while looking I came across a few other birds. Also found a Duck with ducklings in a pond.

I can't help you with the sparrows, but the adult looks like a female Gadwall to me.

Edit: On second thought the ducks might be Mallards. Definitely wait for another opinion or two.

The Sparrow, I'm not sure. It kind of looks like vesper sparrow. Or maybe even a juvenile Lark Sparrow. I wouldn't be surprised to have others disagree vehemently. I agree I think the duck is a Gadwall. Where did you take the photos?

The first two sparrow shots are a Vesper. The auriculars have a pale center that a Sage Sparrow wouldn't have, and the eyebrow stops just behind the eye -- on a juvenile Lark Sparrow it should continue almost to the nape.

The third shot I just can't see enough to say.

The duck is a Gadwall.

I now know the first is a Vesper the second is a Brewers and the duck is a gadwall. Is the third a Grasshopper Sparrow? It has quite the beak on it.

I still can't see that second shot as a Brewer's -- Brewer's shouldn't have that strong malar stripe.
