Red-winged or Tricolored?

I just don't know enough about Tricolored to be able to distinguish this bird. SLO 7/5/12

Red-winged. See comparison pic here......Trikes are the ones with the deeper red bordered with white, and longer, thinner bill. Right front in this pic.

Yep. Those are the Tri-coloreds. The ones with the orange patches with yellow in this pic are Red-wingeds.
