It's a Mourning Dove and doves are notoriously difficult to hand feed. The parents reguritate a substance known as crop milk, which is made up of partially digested seed and a thick, cottage cheese like subtsance secreted from the digestive tract and is extremely hard to duplicate. The best thing to do with the bird is to put it back where you found it, the parents are no doubt in the area and will take care of it until it able to fend for itself. If the parents do not come back, then I would suggest finding a wildlife rehabber in your area, it is illegal to keep a native bird in captivity unless you are a lisenced rehabber, no matter how good your intentons.
