Good timber does not grow with ease:
The stronger wind, the stronger trees.
The further sky, the greater length,
The more the storm, the more their strength.

Go to this link, http://ebird.org/ebi...=changeLocation and select the state and counties you are going to visit (Hold the ctrl button to select multiple counties). It will take you to a chart of all the species seen there and when is the best time to see them. When you get the chart you want then you can click on the map link next to the species you want to target and it will pull up a map with locations of the sightings in the area you selected for that species. And a really cool thing in the map page is that you can click on the checklist link next to the sighting and see what other species where seen at that time in that location.
That all may sound confusing, but it is really not hard to use. eBird is by far the best tool for us birders to find what to expect in different locations, and where to find birds you want to target. Play around with it and I am sure you will use it from now on. You can even start adding your sighting and others will benefit from the information. It is also great for keeping track of all your lists.
