Thank you, so this is a different beast from the OP photo?
I see the small difference of the tails, but every other thing seems to be exactly the same.

Yep, it's a different critter. The twin tails are diagnostic, and Eastern's have more dark scaling on the forewing veins, especially in the outer part of the wing. More importantly for me was range -- Eastern Tigers don't get west of the Great Plains. Western Tigers do, but they don't have the twin tails and they have much heavier tiger stripes.
