Agree with Parula on the Brown Water Snake, second pic shows a Florida Kingsnake.

When I worked in the pet industry, we used to sell those Florida Kingsnakes. Very easily tamed and handled.

Hopefully you helped them cross the road. Sadly, some drivers aren't tolerable towards snakes!

Once in Arizona, my crew boss and I tried to convince a Sidewinder to get out of a fairly busy road. When it finally did move, it headed for the only cover it could find -- our truck!

Liam, usually they bolt off the road as soon as I get out of the car. This road has very little traffic as it is in a seldom visited part of the glades. Her is another for ID.
