Okay, I thought it was a red tailed, but someone else suggested a red shouldered (and they're probably right) but, so I know (because if it's a red shouldered, it's a lifer!) which one is it?

Broad-winged; the pattern on the chest is pretty distinctive.

Oh wow, so it isn't either of what I thought it was? even neater! I guess it's a lifer either way. Usually all i see are red tailed!
