My guesses:

1. Yes, your mergansers are Hooded
2. Female American Kestrel, yes
3. Probably a Willow
4. Red-tailed Hawk, for the reasons psweet stated
5. Dickcissel
6. Red-winged Blackbirds I think

ETA: Oops, missed the Hawk, I added it in

My first glance at #4 I thought Dickcissel, because of the beak and the pose. Then I looked closer, and it throws me off.
Is the Dickcissel pictured here a juvenile or female? First year, or something? The markings are different than the ones I have seen and identified. I am used to a malar stripe, a thin black neckline and v-shaped bib that ends in the breast, but not solid black shoulders that go from front to back. The spots on the neck, the black down the center of the lower tummy, and yellowish tint to the back are all new to me.
Is this an alternate plumage of some sort? We have more Dickcissels here this year than I have seen around before (probably because I have learned to identify them, and recognize their voice part time now), but I will look forward to finding new ones that look like this one if it is an alternate plumage.

I think at least some of the "brave ones on the right" are European Starlings.

I think that Dickcissel is a second year male starting to molt into adult plumage.

I think the hawk is a Red-tail. He's pretty stocky, has a white upper breast, and I think I see a belly band.
