Hello all!

Went to edit this old "gem" which was labeled Red-tailed Hawk. Looking at it tonight I think it's a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk at best and more likely a juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk. Then again, I've been batting pretty low on this "IDing birds" lately. :wacko:

This was taken in Baltimore County, Maryland on 10/18/10.

Great! Thank you very much! This pushes back my earliest Red-shouldered Hawk sighting 4 months and my first Maryland sighting by a whopping 21 months. Whoops!

Agree with juvie Red-Shouldered. You can even make out a little red on the shoulder
