Impressed as I was by its eyes, I wasn't about to give up any of the 23 lb salmon I had caught to it!!

Haha, I think the goal is to keep their flippers up off the ice, and let the furriest, fattest part of their bodies take the brunt of the cold. But it makes them look like little smiles. And then that face they make!
