I was hoping I could post an mp4 file here, but it won't allow me. I recorded a birdsong this morning and would like to identify it. I don't recall hearing it before. I live in north central Texas. The bird was in the woods behind my house. If someone is good at identifying birds by song, and can tell me where to email the file I would really like to find out what it is.
Thanks!

Bump.

Being able to post song files would be very helpful to an ID forum, IMO. Perhaps you could ask about this in the "Posting Problems" thread (pinned at the top of this forum)?

I've never done it, but I know it is possible to attach sound files, as people have done it before! Hopefully someone who knows how will respond. :)

Until we get it sorted out you could just upload the clip to YouTube and post the link here. That would be quickest.
