I know there are plenty of fishermen on Whatbird, so I think we need a thread where you can brag about what you caught today! Pictures are welcome if you have them. ^_^

I'll start. I finally caught my first Black Crappie. Beautiful fish IMO!

Glad y'all are getting a break from the heat, JimBob. I have lots of family in Missouri, so I know how bad it's been. Did you get any of those storms yesterday?

While at my friends house, we went fishing in her pond with fishing line, hooks, and bread. Caught 11 Sunnies that way!! Three of them were big, and the rest were fairly small.

Best Lifers: Iceland Gull, Snowy Owl, Tufted Duck, Barnacle Goose, Northern Saw-Whet Owl, Hooded Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler

There was something fishy about that reply. Is there a joke hidden in there somewhere?
