I just saw a very red bird with a black head and cone beak at my feeder in Bloomington, Minnesota. I've never seen it before and I can't identify it through normal research. Any thoughts any one? I'll try to get a picture.

Was the beak red? If so, it was probably a cardinal that has lost its head feathers because of mites.

Another possibility is Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
