Finally got a picture of this bird. It is among a large of group of barn swallows nesting under my deck. Is it an albino? Is it rare? Thanks

I agree and you got the spelling right, too.

Welcome to Whatbird! Where are you located? I'm seeing a Cliff Swallow here. Barn Swallows have very long tails (at least adults do), but I'm pretty confident I am seeing the white forehead patch associated with Cliff Swallows.

I agree that it's likely to be leucistic, though. Never seen a Cliff or Barn Swallow so pale.

Would it be unreasonable to say that the leucistic-ness causes its forehead to be lighter than normal, thus making it look like a cliff?

Yes, that's possible, but I'm thinking it's more likely to be a Cliff, especially considering the tail is short.

Not as prominent as this bird's, but then again, it could be effected by the leucism. What points to juvie Barn over Cliff here?

The other one struck me as a barn swallow, that's the only reason I thought this one was. Now if the OP will post a pic of the nests, we'll have our answer!
