Differences between juvie BC Night Heron & American Bittern?

what are the main differences in looks?
When I look them both up, their markings seem to be quite similar.
I've been id ing a bird as a juvie BCNH, (and I'm sure that it is) - but in some ways it looks like the American Bittern.

The way they stand and walk is another clue. Rather than going into a description, just check the guide again and again for posture. I have seen many juvie BCNH and none have their neck stretched out like the Bittern. And the Bitterns I've seen are never hunched over like the BCNH. I suppose there is always a first time, and someone is sure to let me know!
Tagging onto that comment, 99.9% of the time a Bittern will never be in a tree while Night Herons perch and roost in them regularly.

I was holding out hope that mine was a bittern - but do believe it's the heron, particularly as it
was in the tree today.
I can't wait to see my first bittern now!
