Solitary Sandpiper?

SoCal, San Joaquin, August 18............ Is this a Solitary Sandpiper? At first glance I thought it was a Spotted Sandpiper; it even bobbed it's tail for me! But Solitary is the only one with "spectacles" and a spotted back. Never seen one before, so I hope I'm right!

I agree! Nice find! You should report it to eBird. I don't see any reports from San Joaquin this season.
