This bird was spotted on 8/19 where other carolina wrens were, but Im just so unfimilar with these birds that I just dont really know, it looks to be a young bird to me, but I could be wrong again!! Thanks for some help. Connecticut edge of the woods by a open field.

Scaled face and no obvious supercilium, this is a House Wren.

I agree with House Wren. Even in the nest Carolina Wrens have superciliums.

Yup, definitely not a Carolina. Somewhere in my files I have shots of some Carolina wrens the day they fledged. Very strong superciliums on those guys.
