Taken today at Jones Beach Coast Guard Station

Which oriole? (Orchard was reported but this looks too orange for Orchard and back was a bright rust)

Which flycatcher? (Have had Leasts but the bill looks too large and the breast seems to have some yellow)

I will pass on your oriole, but your Flycatcher is a Least. The primaries are short enough so that they do not touch. They do not even meet on the tail.

Not that I wouldn't be content with a Least but do you think the bill is small enough for a Least? And my understanding is that short primary projection does not refer to how long the primaries extend towards the tip of the tail but how much longer the primaries are than the tertials.

I think the flycatcher looks more like a Yellow-Bellied. I'd expect a Least to have a much more grayish color, even a fresh bird. Also, the eye-ring looks to have a yellow cast which is a good mark for them.

I agree -- that looks like a Yellow-bellied. The throat looks yellow and the auriculars show very little contrast with the malar area. Structurally, Yellow-bellied is very similar to Least, which explains the short primaries.
