I feel like night photography could always produce some of the most unique shots, since just a small change in camera settings could make the picture look completely different. Share your night photography here.

These were all taken at a beach near my house.

Night photography is something I've barely experimented with, but would really like to learn more about. Here are just a couple of my amateur attempts (didn't even have a tripod to use).

These next two can appear quite different depending on ones brightness and contrast of their monitor. Should be able to see silhouettes in the foreground.

Incognito, what is that a silouhette of in the first silouhette picture. I think it is a satellite, but for some reason, it makes me think of a sunken ship. :)

Both of you have great shots. It's weird how surreal night photographs can look.

Here are my other two from last night.

Oh yeah, this was from a set I did playing with slow exposure while riding in the car. This is downtown Jefferson City, Missouri.

It is a silhouette of a gamma ray telescope. Like a big satellite dish, but with lots of mirrors to reflective trace amounts of blue light to a photomultiplier tube. Here is what one looks like at sunset.

My first time using my camera at night, and I'd say it turned out pretty well!

I don't do much night photography, but, early this morning before the sun came up I took this shot. It wouldn't have turned out at all except a couple of cars pulled into the area with their headlights on. Those are sandhill cranes at the Bosque Del Apache in San Antonio, New Mexico;

That's not fair! You need to try it at night - I had a good moon and no clouds.
